Transport update
We are still hopeful that the train strike on 21, 23 and 25 June will be cancelled or at least a limited service will be running. However, please see below some alternative options.

We wouldn’t normally recommend driving due to our sustainability policy. However, if the train strike will affect your attendance, this may be your best option.

We have negotiated discounted parking at the Utilita Arena car park (next door to the conference venue, capacity for 4,000 cars).

We highly recommend car sharing if you have a car or know someone else who will be driving to the conference. Please liaise with your colleagues and friends to see if this is an option for you.

If you have an electric car, you can check the nearby charging stations here.

Coach transfer to the airport
We have arranged transfers to Birmingham International Airport to depart from the ICC at 15.30 and 15.40 on Thursday 23 June. This service is free of charge and is available on a first come, first served basis. Please email conference@bsg.org.uk to book a seat.

If you would like to get a bus to the airport later than this, please click here to view the routes.

Coach travel
Another option to get to and from the conference is to travel via coach. National Express and Megabus both operate services to Birmingham from various locations around the country.
