Tuesday 13:15-13:45, Hall 4 Silent Symposia

For many patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) who are stable, and on an adequate dose of UDCA it is appropriate to manage them with periodic clinical reviews and 12 monthly LFTs and symptom assessment.  Those who are not are likely to require referral to a specialist centre for further evaluation.

For the busy gastroenterologist it is important to allocate resources appropriately but not to lose track of patients with less common diseases.  While you are at BSG Live 2022 please take 30 minutes of your time to attend this silent symposium.  Our faculty will discuss a simple checklist you can use to ensure your patients are being managed in accordance with the BSG Guidelines.
