Press Credentials
Members of the working press are welcome to cover the BSG LIVE’25. Registration is free to working press who fulfil the criteria for press credentials below.
Journalists who have presented satisfactory press credentials will receive press access to BSG LIVE’25. Patient advocates who write for an online patient community are also eligible to receive press access.

Will you be covering the meeting in-person or remotely?
Letter of assignment
The BSG reserves the right to reject any requests for press access. Passes are limited to one individual per media outlet.
Embargo Policy
All information presented at BSG LIVE’25 is strictly embargoed until 15:00 GMT on Thursday 26 June 2025.
The embargo policy means that no news, information, results of any abstract, or research finding can be released to the media or published before 15:00 GMT on Thursday 26 June 2025.
The BSG requests that no media outlet publishes abstracts presented at BSG LIVE. Abstract publication rights are strictly reserved for BMJ Gut.
Outside Press Conferences
The BSG requests that no group schedules a press conference at any time during the conference.
Newsworthy Abstracts & Press Releases
Newsworthy abstracts will be announced soon along with the poster presentation schedule. In the meantime, please refer to the BSG LIVE’25 scientific programme.
Canvassing, Solicitation, and Flyering
Press pass holders may not conduct or solicit commercial business at BSG LIVE’25.
Solicitation is defined as any activity that is designed to advertise, promote, or sell any product or commercial service or encourage support for a membership, association, or organisation.
The canvassing of exhibitors and delegates is strictly prohibited. Those found canvassing, leafleting, or demonstrating any activity which may disrupt the event will be asked to leave. Examples of prohibited canvassing includes leafleting anywhere throughout the duration of BSG LIVE including leaving leaflets and/or business cards on chairs in conference rooms and/or networking spaces and leafletting directly outside of the venue or at other ancillary venues.
Only exhibitors are permitted to promote their products/services within the confines of the exhibition halls. Press pass holders deemed to be selling or inappropriately distracting exhibitors, or other delegates will be asked to leave.
Media Guidelines for Exhibitors
Exhibitors releasing information to the media based on research or information presented at BSG LIVE’25 or events at BSG LIVE’25 should honour the BSG LIVE’25 embargo.
