Professor Mark Wilcox OBE, Head of Microbiology Research & Development and Infection Lead at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide a brief overview of Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) and the link with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Professor Wilcox will discuss the risk factors of CDI, the challenges of CDI in IBD, and the management of patients with CDI.
