This educational symposium is organised by Janssen and is intended for UK Healthcare
Professionals only.
Janssen’s symposium will aim to deliver high quality, educational content aligned to the BSG
Guidelines 2019 Research priorities and in doing so, will help to enhance knowledge on fatigue,
pain, patient self-management and shared care algorithms when managing Inflammatory Bowel
Disease (IBD) patients.

The learning outcomes (tbc) will be for Healthcare Professionals to be better able to:

  1. Discuss the importance of fatigue and pain as some of the factors that can impact IBD patients and ways to manage them to help support better patient outcomes
  2. Discuss benefits and ways to help patients with self-management
  3. Discuss ways which may help enhance collaboration across the primary and secondary care interface and secondary care multi-disciplinary team
