Using the UK-PBC audit as an impetus the Gastroenterology Team at Whiston Hospital undertook a Quality Improvement Project (QuIP) to standardise PBC care across their Service. In this session Dr. Michael Zhang will give a background on the UK-PBC Audit national outcomes and local Whiston UK-PBC Audit results and showcase the impact of a PBC Clinic Proforma which has driven near universal improvement of BSG-recognised Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for PBC consultations. Challenges, hurdles & future service aspirations will also be discussed.
